I received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers, and I am licensed to practice psychology in Maryland. I have professional experience working in schools, community outreach centers, and college counseling centers. I work with adults, and have specialized training in working with couples. My approach to treatment  is to use a strengths based approach to work collaboratively with clients to understand their distress and its origins, to relieve suffering and move towards realizing their personal goals. I work to create a safe and non-judgmental space with warmth and humor and strive to enable clients to process their experiences and emotions, so we can work towards growth together. I have found that therapy can help clients improve the quality of their relationships, find and give meaning to their work, and increase their confidence and self worth.
