Biography

I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland and a National Certified Counselor. I received my Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Pennsylvania State University. I have multiple years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults within a school or clinical setting. Over the years, I have supported clients experiencing anxiety, depression, gender and identity exploration, grief and loss, body image issues, trauma, and sports performance in athletes.

I believe that there is no one way to work towards our goals and I look holistically at the various impacts to an individual’s mental health. In order to create individualized treatment for each client, I utilize several theories including cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, person-centered, and behavioral. My counseling style is empathetic, warm, and honest in order to create a space where individuals can come to be their true selves and receive support as they explore the impacts to their well-being.
