Biography

I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Messiah College. I work with ages 14+ on a variety of areas including anxiety, depression, and other mood-related issues. Some clients choose to address past traumas and/or grief and loss while others seek help in navigating relationships and our society with issues regarding race, gender, sexuality, ability, spirituality, etc.

In sessions with me, you can expect a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and safe environment while you develop a deeper sense of self-understanding. My style is warm, direct, and reflective of my sense of humor and personality. I tailor treatment according to each individual, often utilizing several theories including cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, existential, and person-centered. It is my hope that you will strive toward a place of both self-acceptance and reach the growth that you are looking for.
