I received my doctoral degree in the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program at Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. and am currently a Registered Psychology Associate in the State of Maryland. I completed my pre-doctoral, APA-accredited internship at the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents (RICA) in Rockville, MD. I have worked in a variety of treatment settings including hospital-affiliated behavioral health centers, therapeutic day schools, and residential facilities for children and adolescents.

My therapeutic approach is, first and foremost, one of empowerment. Using a multidisciplinary, integrated approach that employs evidence-based techniques, I work collaboratively with individuals, families, and couples to help them explore how different aspects of their lives (such as relationships, families, school, work, trauma, etc.) affect their moods and behaviors. I consider the client as the expert in their lives and use my expertise in psychology to help them understand how their thoughts, behaviors, emotions, and past experiences have created or maintained their presenting issues. I provide therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with a multitude of presenting issues, specializing in the assessment and treatment of individuals with externalizing, oppositional, or conduct-related behaviors, trauma, depression, anxiety, academic/school /work related difficulties, and ADHD. I also provide comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations that include cognitive, academic, social-emotional, attentional, and neuropsychological measures, as well as tailored recommendations. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, acting, and cooking.
