Deborah Williams, Psy.D.Psychologist
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, each of whom presented with unique challenges and opportunities. My specialties include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, sexual issues, ADHD, educational difficulties, significant life changes, and emotional discomfort. To support change, I employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, which include psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness interventions. Environments in which I’ve worked include community mental health, outpatient clinics, forensic settings, and psychiatric hospitals.
I also conduct psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. These assessments can help with diagnostic clarification, especially if you, or your child, have questions about learning or emotional functioning. In addition, assessments can be used to identify strengths and weaknesses and provide an individual with a fuller picture of their intelligence, personality, and social ability. I ensure that assessment recommendations are clear, specific, practical, and address your questions.
