I received my doctoral training in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama, and completed my clinical internship at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. I am now a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Maryland. I have specialized training with children, adolescents, families, and young adults, and my experience across outpatient clinics, primary care, schools, residential settings, and hospitals has allowed me to develop proficiency in addressing a wide range of mental heath concerns. These include anxiety, depression, externalizing behavior problems, PTSD, interpersonal difficulties, and functional limitations due to pain.

I take a strengths-based approach to treatment, and while I find value in maintaining openness to all therapy modalities in order to meet individual client needs, I draw most prominently from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and a person-centered theoretical orientation. Further, I am trained in psychological assessment for a variety of referral questions, including ADHD, learning disorders, anxiety/mood, and behavioral concerns. I believe strongly in the importance of the patient-provider relationship, and aim to create a warm, open, and trusting environment in which clients feel safe and supported as they work toward meeting their therapeutic goals.
